Realizzazione di materiali per la creazione di esercizi interattivi

Prof. Paolo Cutini

Il progetto, elaborato dal prof. Cutini, docente di lingua inglese, si prefigge lo scopo di consentire agli studenti di acquisire la capacità di sapersi comportare adeguatamente in situazioni reali, attraverso la realizzazione di video basati su conversazioni ambientate in contesti di vita quotidiana. Ai video verranno poi aggiunti i sottotitoli, affinché possano essere usati per creare, con il programma Hot Potatoes, una serie di esercizi interattivi di comprehension da pubblicare sul sito di Cyberteacher.

I soggetti interessati al progetto, al quale collaborerà Miss Keziah, assistente madrelingua di conversazione inglese, sono gli studenti delle classi 1A e 1B.

I mezzi usati saranno gli strumenti hardware (computer, videocamera digitale, ecc.) e software (programmi per videoscrittura, creazione degli esercizi, editing dei video, aggiornamento del sito, ecc.) disponibili a scuola e a casa, oltre alle risorse disponibili in rete (questo wiki, il canale di YouTube e il sito di Cyberteacher, sui quali verrano pubblicati i video e gli esercizi).

La verifica dell'efficacia del progetto avverrà attraverso la valutazione dei progressi compiuti dagli studenti nelle quattro skills e avverrà in tre fasi distinte: la prima, al momento della registrazione dei video, quando gli studenti dovranno dimostrare di aver appreso strutture e lessico delle conversazioni (listening, speaking); la seconda, con la elaborazione di una serie di domande relative alle conversazioni (writing); la terza, con lo svolgimento degli esercizi (listening, reading, writing).

Per quanto concerne tempi e luoghi, il progetto richiederà approssimativamente 30 ore (complessive per entrambe le classi) nei mesi di marzo e aprile, verrà realizzato in parte a scuola (in classe, nel laboratorio linguistico e, laddove possibile, in ambientazioni esterne), in parte a casa e si articolerà in nove fasi:
